In 2014, the Russians entered Ukraine in unmarked combat equipment and unmarked uniforms. Their goal is Crimea and Donbas. The occupiers shoot the pregnant wife (Maryna Koškina) of physics teacher Mykola (Aldoshyn Pavlo) and set the house on fire. The initially pacifist Mykol develops a hatred for the occupiers and enrolls in an army course for snipers. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian command has a big problem with a Russian elite sniper, to whom Ukrainian soldiers fall victim day after day.
