In the field of Apple computers, the most attention is currently being paid to the long-awaited 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro. It should be introduced already this fall and will offer a number of great changes that are definitely worth it. Specifically, it will come with a new design, a more powerful chip, a mini-LED display and other novelties. On the other hand, there is not much talk about the MacBook Air. The silence was recently broken by respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who shared possible news. So far it looks like it will definitely be worth it.

According to the latest information, the upcoming MacBook Air should also see an improvement to the screen, namely a mini-LED panel, which will greatly improve the display quality. At the same time, Apple is inspired by the 24″ iMac for its cheapest laptop. The Air should come in several color combinations. Similar predictions were previously expressed by, for example, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and leaker Jon Prosser. In any case, Kuo adds that Apple fans will also get a newer design. It will be similar to this year's "Proček" and will therefore offer sharper edges. A more powerful Apple Silicon chip is a matter of course, and at the same time there is talk of the implementation of a MagSafe connector for power.

Another issue is availability and price. For now, it is not clear whether the MacBook Air (2022) with a mini-LED display will replace the current model from the previous year, or whether they will be sold at the same time. For now, anyway, we can easily count on the fact that the entry price will start at the current 29 crowns. In the end, Kuo clarifies the situation around suppliers. BOE will specialize in mini-LED displays for the MacBook Air, while LG and Sharp will sponsor the production of screens for the expected MacBook Pro.
