Ben-Hur

Ben-Hur is the epic story of Ben-Hur (Jack Huston), a scion of an important princely family from Jerusalem, whose adoptive brother Messala, a high-ranking member of the Roman army, falsely accuses him of treason. His family, including his beloved wife, end up in prison, and he himself is stripped of his property and sentenced to life in the galleys. After three years spent at sea, Ben-Hur returns to his homeland with only one thought - to take revenge on Messal for all the hardships he has caused him. He therefore challenges him to a duel in a four-sleigh race to prove that truth and victory are on his side.

Behind enemy lines

Self-confident Lieutenant Chris Burnett (Owen Wilson) was trained as a specialist in the control of F/A-18 Superhornet fighter aircraft and became a true top pilot and navigator. It is therefore not surprising that, puffed up with knowledge and an unshakable belief in his abilities, he wants to show the world what he can do. His somewhat conservative superior, Admiral Reigart (Gene Hackman), finds his hot-bloodedness inappropriate. "We are observers and not soldiers", his subordinate Chris tells Admiral Reigart. But during a scouting event, Burnett takes a photo of something he definitely shouldn't have seen, is shot down and chased. Despite the fact that the whole action takes place "behind enemy lines", the lieutenant is at stake. Admiral Reigart breaks his principles and makes a risky decision to save his life... The story of the film is set in an indefinite time characterized as "the day after tomorrow" and is inspired by the disturbing situation in Bosnia.
