A few days ago, we informed you that a new APR iSetos will be opening in Prague in the Chodov shopping center (article here). Now we bring you a report from this opening event.

The company Setos, s.r.o., which has been operating on the Czech market since 1992, is behind the opening of the authorized APR iSetos store. Setos, s.r.o. is a leader in the field of mobile phones, photo technology and navigation. It operates a network of Space retail stores and Nokia branded stores. Since 1996, however, he has been dealing with Apple products, and the opening of an APR store under the iSetos brand is thus a natural continuation of the development.

An interesting sales event was associated with the opening of this store, namely a 50% discount on the 4th generation iPod touch for the first 50 customers, supported by a 13% discount for the next 50 customers who were interested in this product. Furthermore, iSetos prepared a 20% discount on the MacBook Pro 13″ for the first 20 customers, and as was the case with the iPod touch, for the next 20 customers there was a 13% discount on this apple laptop.

In addition, the first 100 customers received a book called iWoz, which is about the co-founder of Apple - Steve Wozniak, and there were coffee vouchers for everyone to get some energy while waiting for the official opening. The offered discount event was very interesting, therefore a large turnout and queues were expected even before the opening of the shopping center.

This prediction came true and some people had been queuing since the early hours of the morning or even since midnight, so at 7.00:30 a.m. there was a considerable crowd of people in front of the still closed shopping center. After the entrance to the Chodov center was opened, a fierce race broke out to see who would run in front of the store first. Then the crowd began to line up. Everyone got a card with their number. Each interested party then had to have stamps put on this card at XNUMX-minute intervals to prevent someone from leaving immediately and returning late.

An entertainment program with competitions was prepared for the waiting potential customers. They could pass the time, for example, by playing on the Wii console, and the best could win an iPod shuffle with other valuable gifts. Those who don't like console games could read the received gift - iWoz book. So people did not only have to wait in line in front of the store, but could, for example, go for refreshments, entertainment or tour the shopping center.

As the 14 p.m., or the appointed time of the grand opening, began to approach, people were sorted by individual numbers to avoid confusion. At exactly two o'clock, the symbolic curtain was torn down and the ribbon was cut by the first customer. Sellers slowly began to let tired people into the store. They went in in groups of 10 people.

The first customer bought an iPod touch for his daughter with a smile on his face, let us take his picture and then left happy (last photo below the article). Overall, he was more celebrating the success of the iPod touch, which was hugely popular. That's why people with numbers over 100 ended up getting a 13% discount on the MacBook Pro.

The overall design of the store, on a sales area of ​​90 m2, including the layout of the products, is determined and strictly controlled directly by Apple. Care is taken not only in the placement of sales furniture, but also in sufficient space for the products themselves or the possibility of showing them off. Customers are thus guaranteed the same level of quality of services provided.

In the APR product range of the iSetos store, you can find almost everything you can think of from Apple. The range includes the latest products such as the ultra-thin MacBook Air, iPhone 4, all kinds of iPods, but also, for example, a Mac Pro.

As for the evaluation of the entire event, it was prepared and, as a result, handled excellently. Whether it concerned promotion, the accompanying program, communication, or the overall handling of the promised promotional event. The potential customer thus had a large amount of information directly from the iSetos profiles on social networks. Here they could get various tips, e.g. through which entrance and how quickly to get to the store or more detailed information about the products. Which made the job much easier for some, they didn't have to worry unnecessarily about how it would arrive at the store.

It got to everyone, so people went home satisfied and full of impressions with their new apple products. I believe that they will be happy to return to the iSetos APR store.
