Apple has announced on its website that all its stores around the world are closing. The only exception is China, where the COVID-19 pandemic is already coming under control and people are returning to normal life. However, most countries in Europe and America still have the pandemic under almost no control, many governments have proceeded to complete quarantine, so the complete closure of the Apple Store is not among the surprising steps.

Stores will be closed until at least March 27. After that, the company will decide what to do next, it will of course depend on how the situation around the coronavirus develops. At the same time, Apple has not completely dampened sales of its products, the online shop still works. And that includes the Czech Republic.

The company also pledged to pay Apple Store workers the same money as if the stores remained open. At the same time, Apple added that it will also extend this paid leave in cases where employees have to deal with personal or family problems caused by the coronavirus. And that includes fully recovering from an illness, caring for someone infected or caring for children who are at home due to closed nurseries and schools.
