For the past two years, Apple has presented the latest generation of its phone after the holidays, i.e. in September/October, and this year will probably be no exception. According to the server AllThingsD.com (falling under Wall Street Journal) the new iPhone should be launched on September 10. Wall Street Journal usually has accurate information about Apple, and although the company has not officially confirmed the date (it sends out invitations up to a week in advance), it is more likely to expect that we will see the upcoming iPhone generation in less than a month.
We don't know much about the "iPhone 5S", or in short the seventh generation of the phone, so we can only speculate for now. It will probably have a better processor, an improved camera with dual flash and possibly an integrated fingerprint reader. There is also speculation about a cheaper variant of the iPhone, also referred to as the "iPhone 5C", with a plastic back cover, which should catch on especially in developing markets. In any case, the iPhone will be launched together with iOS 7, which means that the official version of the new operating system should be released in four weeks.
Furthermore, we will probably see new MacBook Pros with Haswell processors, and we may also learn new information about the Mac Pro, for which neither the price nor the availability has yet been announced. AllThingsD they also say we should expect OS X 10.9 Mavericks, but don't expect it to be available at the time of the keynote.
I'm getting annoyed that the IPhone comes out so often. It seems to me that Apple is still catching up with Samsung. Samsung releases another mobile phone every month if it could. If I have an iPhone 5 for a year and another one comes out the next year, it seems to me that it has no value. Because the price will drop again, and so will the performance. Plastic back cover? Apple is joking again, isn't it? Who ever saw it. After the death of Jobs, I see a decline in apple. Maybe I'm just mistaken….
Yes, you're wrong.. While Samsung has several phones and in several series, Apple has only one. I'm not sure that a new type of iPhone comes out every year. Even if that were the case, there would still be enough people who would buy it. Whether it's a rock fan of the company, people who have the old type or people who don't have it at all. Innovation is moving forward and it is difficult for anyone to stop it, moreover, they would be against each other, not to change devices...
Yes, Apple has one battleship and that is the iPhone. Samsung is the complete opposite, but? After all, it was like that, wasn't it? Or it should be every two years, but not every year. Remember that production started in 2007 and it's 2013 and we already have the fifth generation. He won't come up with anything good in a year. Again, it speeds up and improves the camera. It's still the same. They have to wait two or three years and then release some kind of bomb. I'm a big apple fan but this has been bothering me lately...
I'm not sure you understand what's going on here. For one thing, Apple would lose a lot (both financially and keeping up with the competition) if it "waited" for 2-3 years. I don't see inside Apple, but I think every big company doesn't plan just one year ahead. In addition, all the scraps that we collect during the year in the form of articles (whether here on the apple store or elsewhere) are a clear sign that Apple is "collecting" companies and patents for various products and functions in advance. If they didn't sell the iPhone every year, then they wouldn't have anything to feed the development from, given that the iPhone and iPad are big drivers in terms of finances.
Of course, I'm not telling you what to think, but maybe it doesn't bother me at all. I have an iP4S, with this year's iP5S I will be two models "behind" in a generation, but the performance provided by my current model is enough that I don't need to own the best and latest model again. If it serves me well, I will easily own it for another 2 or 3 years. I guess I've grown up a long time ago and I don't need to mess around with who has the best (I guess I didn't even do it much). There are more important things, not as superficial as this ;)

I agree and I would also add to the plastic body... plastic was always one of the materials that Jobs was obsessed with as well as aluminum later, they used it on products that were supposed to be more affordable such as the plastic macbook (the plastic unibody model from 2009 is very hilarious)
"I'm not sure a new type of iPhone comes out every year"
Well, that's a mistake. You have a lot to learn. From the beginning, there is a new model once a year.
?????????
Did you fall off the cherry tree? Or do you have your first iPhone and didn't know Apple existed a year ago?
Of course they introduce a new iPhone once a year, they've been doing it since the first model in 2007. Regardless of Samsung.
I don't know, but I personally absolutely do not like the cheaper version of the iPhone. I don't see it as a step forward..
What I don't understand is that these are cheap iPhones. I do understand that Apple would like to have a strong position in developing markets, but perhaps not at the expense of the customers who will buy the iPhone at full price (not a small one, by the way).
Such a bit of reversed discrimination, since they are from the USA, where this is customary :(
Hopefully, the new iPhone will have NFC in addition to the mentioned news. And as for the plastic iPhone, I don't see anything wrong with that. The only thing I have against Apple is the overpriced price of this toy in general. Personally, I don't want to pay €500 or more for this piece. Well, let's see what they present, let's be surprised.
why don't you pay 500+, buy some Tamtung toy :-)
Or Sockia…
To be honest, I'd rather pay CCA 600€ for an iPhone than buy a Tamtung, Sockia or Chujavej...
