Apple has released the iTunes 11.0.1 update

Apple has just released an update to the new iTunes music player. The new version is only the hundredth update 11.0.1 and brings fixes, improvements and also one new feature from the previous iTunes 10.

Update 11.0.1 resolves an issue where new purchases stored in iCloud may not be displayed when iTunes Match is turned on, fixes an issue that could prevent AirPlay buttons from appearing in context view, and improves responsiveness when searching a large library.

The update also includes stability and performance improvements. An added feature is the ability to display duplicate items in the library.

iTunes 11.0.1 update is available in the Mac App Store.
