After the arrival of iOS 7, many users report problems with sending iMessages, which are often simply impossible to send. The wave of complaints was so great that Apple had to respond to the whole case, which admitted the problem and stated that it was preparing a fix in the upcoming update of the operating system...

It is speculated that iOS 7.0.3 is on its way as early as next week, however, it is not certain whether the patch for the iMessage sending problem will appear in this version. Apple pro The Wall Street Journal stated:

We are aware of the issue affecting a fraction of our iMessage users and are working on a fix for the next system update. In the meantime, we encourage all customers to refer to the troubleshooting documents or contact AppleCare with any issues. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this error.

One option to fix iMessage was resetting the network settings or hard restarting the iOS device, however none of this guarantees 100% functionality anyway.

The malfunction of iMessage is manifested by the fact that the message appears to have been sent at first, but later a red exclamation mark appears next to it, indicating that the sending failed. Sometimes the iMessage doesn't send at all because the iPhone sends the message as a normal text message.
