After the arrival of iOS 7, many users report problems with sending iMessages, which are often simply impossible to send. The wave of complaints was so great that Apple had to respond to the whole case, which admitted the problem and stated that it was preparing a fix in the upcoming update of the operating system...
It is speculated that iOS 7.0.3 is on its way as early as next week, however, it is not certain whether the patch for the iMessage sending problem will appear in this version. Apple pro The Wall Street Journal stated:
We are aware of the issue affecting a fraction of our iMessage users and are working on a fix for the next system update. In the meantime, we encourage all customers to refer to the troubleshooting documents or contact AppleCare with any issues. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this error.
One option to fix iMessage was resetting the network settings or hard restarting the iOS device, however none of this guarantees 100% functionality anyway.
The malfunction of iMessage is manifested by the fact that the message appears to have been sent at first, but later a red exclamation mark appears next to it, indicating that the sending failed. Sometimes the iMessage doesn't send at all because the iPhone sends the message as a normal text message.
It has nothing to do with iOS7 currently, but this is happening to me on an iPad mini with iOS 6.1.3. Sometimes I can send imessage just fine, other times it's the same as currently with the new iOS7 system. Does anyone have a similar problem with minims and imessage sending??? ;-)
It works wonderfully for me. For one contact, I have separate SMS and separate iMessage in messages since iOS7. If the other party is offline, iMessage waits to be sent until it is online... The option to change to SMS does not work.
In the same way, incoming messages are scattered into folders depending on whether they are iMessage or SMS.
That's because you send the contact on iMessages to the person's email and not to the phone number, so logically you can't convert the message to a classic SMS.
It depends on the settings, if you turn off the email in iMessage and leave only the number, logically it goes to the number ;)
it works flawlessly for me all the time.
Just turn off the phone normally and then everything is ok again. It messed up both my iPh5 and my wife's four :-(
EVERY NORMAL PERSON SEES THAT THE PROBLEM IS NOT IN IOS7 BUT IN THE PRETENSION OF THE CENTER FOR THIS SERVICE!!
THINK PEOPLE!!
I agree, finally someone wrote the truth here.
Well, you're such an expert on that. It worked fine until now and since iOS 7.0.2 it works for me every day. If I leave it alone, it doesn't work all day, but as soon as I restart it, it runs immediately and without any problems. So it probably won't be the center, see? :-)
