Apple's website simply named "Remembering Robin Williams" continues the tradition and dedicates a piece of space on the Apple.com domain to the memory of another world-class personality.

The commemorative site is situated very similarly to when it was last used in December of last year, when Nelson Mandela died. The website features a black-and-white portrait of a smiling Robin Williams, complete with the actor's dates of birth and death. In addition, a short condolence message is displayed on the page.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Robin Williams. He inspired us with his passion, generosity and gift for making us laugh. We will be greatly missed.

Although Apple did not place the condolence on its main page this time, it is still hard to miss. The link to the page is included among the main links that lead, for example, to the page presenting iOS 8 or to the page with the fresh diversity report at Apple.

In addition, Tim Cook already expressed his regret over the actor's death on Twitter on Monday, where he wrote: “The news of Robin Williams' passing broke my heart. He was an incredible talent and a great human being. Rest in peace."

Coincidentally, one of Williams' last projects was working on the opening commercial for the "Your Verse" campaign to promote the iPad. The spots that are part of this campaign tell the stories of specific people and show how these people use the iPad in their lives. Williams recites a fitting monologue from the film in the opening video Dead Poets Society (Dead Poets Society).

Robin Williams is one of the few individuals who appeared on Apple's website after his death. Over the years, the company has paid tribute to only a few big public figures on its website. Among others, such an honor was given to the co-founder and long-time head of the company, Steve Jobs.

In addition, Apple dedicated an entire page in the iTunes multimedia store to Robin Williams. The special section includes the best films in which this phenomenal actor played, various TV shows or audio recordings of his "stand-up" performances. In addition, the column is supplemented with a short description of Williams' extraordinary life and career.
