In June 2009, Apple received a patent for the trackpad, which has never appeared on the market until now. On February 26, 2010, the latest trademark application was published for the all new "Magic TrackPad."

Since then, photos of the mysterious device have been leaked several times, the purpose of which has only been speculated. Server Engadget claims that the 15cm device supports handwriting recognition and all the features of the Magic Mouse (and possibly the MacBook Pro trackpad).

He approved the device, known only by the model number A1339 FCC (Federal Communications Authority) to operate. Testing of the "Bluetooth trackpad" took place in October last year and is said to be ready for mass production. At the end of this week, Apple could introduce the device. Will this mean the arrival of applications from the App Store on the Mac or will it be used to test multitouch developers? We will have to wait for the answer.
