Czech has been in the iOS and OS X systems for a long time, but their localization has not been complete until now. The App Store and Mac App Store were only available in English. But now Apple has finally decided to fully localize them as well, so we will come across the Czech language in both software stores.
It seems that Apple releases the new language gradually, so it may happen that you will still have the App Store on iPhones and iPads or the Mac App Store on Macs in English even if you otherwise have iOS and OS X in Czech. To switch to Czech, some just log out and log in again. This procedure worked for us in the App Store on the iPhone, but we still see English in the Mac App Store.
We can expect that in the coming weeks, everyone who sets up iOS and OS X in Czech will already see the Czech localization of stores.
Well, I'll have to get used to it. But I don't like it when honorific is mixed with English.
I have already registered the change on Apple TV
The App Store in Czech is fine, but unfortunately for applications in iTunes Connect, it is still not possible to select Czech as the language for localization. Everything apparently still falls under the UK English language (along with other Central/Eastern European countries).
Yeah, I was wondering that too. But I hope that they will gradually change this too, when the App Store is already in Czech.
maybe even Siri could learn Czech :)
it is also translated into SK
It's a terrible habit for me... For example, "GET" I'll be breathing for a long time... I wish it was possible to change the language for the app store...
The translation "The most profitable" seems completely off to me. Apple translates more and more things into Czech, and I switch more and more devices to English...
I prefer everything in English, because it seems more intuitive and logical to me. Some translations are either imprecise, sarcastic and sometimes .. at a loss for words.
I agree. In English, I have a mac, if only because of the logic of keyboard shortcuts. Looks like I'll be switching to AJ soon as well as iPhone and iPad.
Czech was apparently already available much earlier. Quite often it flashed for a second when I started the blind. This is perhaps a matter of timing before the launch of another honored service, which could be Siri. Let's see what Apple means by this.
