Apple has released major updates to its professional audio applications Logic Pro X and MainStage 3, reflecting the acquisition of developer studio Camel Audio, which took place at the beginning of the year. The biggest novelty in the aforementioned applications is the award-winning Alchemy synthesizer.

It was for its Alchemy synthesizer that Camel Audio was known for, and now it turns out that this was probably one of the main reasons why Apple decided to buy the studio. Now, for the first time, Alchemy is coming directly to the California company's apps.

Alchemy brings multiple music generators and over 3000 presets to Logic Pro X and MainStage for various genres of electronic music including dance, hip hop and rock. The new synthesizer also brings a preset browser or new tools for creating instruments and musical effects.

In addition to Alchemy, Logic Pro X 10.2 and MainStage 3.2 also received over a thousand new Apple Loops for various instruments, and both applications support the Force Touch trackpad. In addition, artists using Logic Pro can now share their work directly on Connect in Apple Music.

Logic Pro X is available for purchase in the Mac App Store for 200 euros, MainStage 3 stands 30 EUR. However, the update bringing the Alchemy synthesizer and other news is of course free for existing users. The iOS application Logic Remote has also been updated, it is Free Download.
