You will never thank anyone. Wisdom that also applies in the puzzle game Twisty Hollow from the developers of Arkadium. They already have several similar puzzle and card games to their credit, with their Twisty Hollow making it to this week's App of the Week selection. It can be downloaded for free in the App Store.
At certain moments, Twisty Hollow reminded me of the board game Twister. Probably for the reason that the basic tool of the whole game is a disc, which contains three separate rings. There is something different in each of them, and your task is always to combine the character, the tool and the raw material, which will give you the finished product. You have to deliver it to an impatient customer as quickly as possible.
At first, it will mainly be various dishes such as bacon, meat, fish, milk or sushi. Various minerals, wood and houses will also be added over time. Customers will also become increasingly impatient, and if they don't get what they want, not only will they not get their money, but they'll leave angry. In the game, you have to deal with different time intervals up to interesting mini-games. Twisty Hollow also features a game story that revolves around a strange mayor and his even stranger regulations.
You can test your speed and attention in more than fifty themed rounds. Trust me, as time goes on, you won't know where to jump first. It gave me a headache a couple of times, but it's still an interesting game that pleases not only with its graphics. At the same time, if you are competitive, you can compare your results from individual rounds with other users or friends via Game Center.
