A simple logic game based on the famous Tetris. This is how the application of the week could be characterized simply Shades: A Simple Puzzle Game, which is a free download in the App Store for this week. The game relies on a primitive concept that can absorb you for a long time.
Shades does not stand out for its dazzling graphics, but rather for its gameplay that appeals to all ages. The principle of the game is very simple. Your task is to align colored tiles according to color. Just like in Tetris, once you have one row of the same color, the entire pyramid will drop one row lower. You determine the direction of impact by tapping on the device's display, and when you drag downwards, you speed up the movement of the tile.
The joke is that in each game you have a choice of three difficulties and at the same time you will be playing with different colored tiles. One time you will color change, for example, different shades of green, then the next time you play the opposite, blue. Shades is quite addictive and requires a certain amount of attention and timely decision making. With more rounds, you'll also appreciate some strategic planning.
As with Tetris, the rule is that once you block a tile somewhere, it will be very difficult to get back to it. The game ends when your tower reaches the ceiling. You will then see your best score and the game can start again from the beginning.
