Filip Brož There is nothing worse than an endless dream that has no climax. Even the little girl knows about it in the new action adventure game Pursuit of Light. This is the fault of the developer Zhipeng Wang, who made it to the App of the Week section for this week with his game.
Pursuit of Light takes place in a mysterious and mystical world and a never-ending dream. The main character is a little girl who is literally looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately, there are many dangerous obstacles and pitfalls in her way that she must overcome.
For this, she uses the magic of the moon and the star, i.e. the two buttons located at the bottom of the screen. Your task is only to press these two symbols, i.e. as soon as you see them or they will follow. Every time you press the moon or star symbol, the little girl jumps one space. If you press the wrong symbol, you start from the beginning.
At the same time, you have to avoid various moving traps, hammers, falling stones and other traps. You also have to deal with minor conundrums in case the journey continues in a different way and your job is to figure out how to transport yourself to that location.
In total, you are tasked with jumping over eighty rounds, with the difficulty gradually increasing. I must say that I experienced moments when I wanted to end the game, because dying several times in a row in the same place or square before the end is not pleasant. The game will therefore also test your patience, strong nerves and strategic foresight. Nimble fingers and good timing will also come in handy.
Pursuit of Light is completely free to download on the App Store, and the game is compatible with all iOS devices. From the point of view of design, it is not a miracle, but on the other hand, the game offers an interesting game concept and long entertainment.
