AirPrint technology works great. Just pair the printer with your Wi-Fi network and you can happily print from your iPhone or other iOS device. However, there is one catch - this technology is still quite obscure. If you don't own a newer Canon printer or one of the handful of others that support AirPrint, all you have to do is connect via an (increasingly expensive) AirPort router or a classic USB cable.

Fortunately, there is another alternative – the Printer Pro application from the well-known developer company Readdle. This allows you to print on any wireless printer on the same Wi-Fi network. The setup is quite simple, just install the application, select the printer and quickly set the print margins.

You can then print photos from the Pictures app directly from the app, and now also documents in iCloud Drive. In addition, it is also possible to import various files into the application via the "Open in Printer Pro" button. We can find this option, for example, with websites, e-mails and their attachments, iWork applications or Dropbox storage.

Printer Pro offers basic settings such as page orientation, size adjustment (scaling and printing multiple pages on one sheet) or sheet size and number of copies. A number of advanced functions available on a computer are understandably missing, but the application, on the other hand, works very reliably and quickly and is also user-friendly thanks to a good design. In addition to all this, this week it is not for the usual 6,29 euros, but for free.
