The work of a firefighter and a rescuer in one is no honey. Even the main character of Mighty Switch Force knows about it! Hose it Down!, which made it into this week's App of the Week selection. The game is the responsibility of the American developers from WayForward, who have been active in the game market since 1990. In almost twenty-five years, they have gone through a lot of development, when at the beginning they focused mainly on the first Gameboy type consoles up to the PC. So far, they are among the newcomers in the iOS field, and in America they scored only with the Shantae game.
Mighty Switch Force! Hose it Down! is a retro puzzle game where your main task is to put out the fire. In order for the flow of cold water to reach the very epicenter of the fire, you have to overcome various obstacles and, above all, literally build a path for yourself. In the game, you have to rearrange and move the cubes in which there are different pipes in different ways. These act as your extended hose to get the water flow where it needs to go.
You can easily handle the first few rounds, but over time various iron and mud obstacles or invisible cubes will be added, which will stir up your brain. It happened a few times that I was thinking hard and at the same time I had the solution of the puzzle right next to me. In addition to logical reasoning, a small dose of spatial imagination and strategic planning will also come in handy. Also, what would a firefighter be without saving people. For that reason, it will sometimes be your task to free someone and clear the way for them to escape to safety.
More than twenty-five rounds are waiting for you in the game. Of course, time also runs in each level, and you can easily compare your results with other players via the Game Center.
