Filip Brož Apple made children and their parents happy again this week. As part of the App of the Week, the interactive educational game MarcoPolo Ocean is free to download. The main task in the game is to create your own ocean or aquarium.
In the beginning, of course, your ocean is empty, and like a good breeder, you need to add fish, boats, food and other sea creatures to your aquarium. At the same time, the ocean is divided into several parts, and in each of them different types of sea fish can be bred. However, the key to success is simple interactive puzzle games, for example, children click on the whale icon, which they have to assemble piece by piece.
A similar principle also works with an underwater submarine, ship or octopus. Once you assemble it from the small parts, you can put it in your ocean. Some fish are available from the start, so just drag and drop them into the ocean. All objects and fish are interactive - when you click on them, they will do something or just jump up.
Of course, the ocean also consists of underwater depths. Just scroll down a bit in your aquarium and you may notice that the fish supply changes immediately.
Of course, there are also detailed descriptions of animals in the game, but they are not usable in English, i.e. in our region. On the other hand, I can imagine that a parent and a child will sit down at the device and together they will talk about what is in the ocean, what the fish in question look like or how they behave. Thanks to this, you will get great interactive educational material.
MarcoPolo Ocean also did well in terms of graphics and has simple controls. The game is compatible with all iOS devices and is available now on the App Store download completely free. If you have children, I highly recommend the app.
