The story of the fisherman and his fingers will accompany you throughout the game. Your main task in single player is to return the fisherman's fingers back to his hand. The moment you achieve this, it's game over. And how can you achieve this?
In every game you start, you pretty much do the same thing over and over again. You have to connect as many jelly creatures of the same color as possible within the time limit. It seems like a simple task, but these colorful creatures are very fast and keep moving around the screen. The more you connect at once, the better, as a bonus time limit is added for each success.
Of course, there are various special combos and bonuses in the game, which you either get for free or can be purchased as part of in-app purchases. The main combo that is worth using all the time includes connecting colored jelly creatures into closed shapes and, in the best case, closing some other creature inside. In this case, a longer time limit and more points will be added to you.
In terms of controls, Jellies can handle it! absolutely everyone. As with most games, all you need is one finger and a little attention. All combinations are explained at the beginning of the game in a short video tutorial. At the moment when the time limit expires, you will always see the achieved score added to the total number of points, for which you return individual fingers to the fisherman's hand and advance on the virtual map of your progress.
Practically, I got the first two fingers back within a few games. Subsequently, the score peeked out at me, which will require dozens of games, which are often just about patience, speed and attention. Another way to play is multiplayer, in which you connect to the Internet and randomly select an opponent. Subsequently, one game awaits you, where at the end the achieved scores will be compared and experience points will be added.
The third option that you can try in the game is the so-called endless mode, where you can train or relax without a time limit or points. Of course, the same game concept still applies in the form of connecting colorful jelly monsters. The only downside is that you have to purchase this mod through in-app purchases. You can try it for a limited time if you like the developers on their Facebook page.
From a gameplay perspective, Jellies! it doesn't offer any dizzying or new game concept, and so the game unfortunately has the potential to become mundane at the moment of long-term play. The invigorating factor is certainly the multiplayer, in which you will test your strength against other players. That said, the game features in-app purchases that Jellies! they revive easily, but at the same time they do not bring anything new.
