At this year's Spring Loaded Keynote held in April, the long-awaited tracker called AirTag was unveiled. This product uses Apple's product network (or Find Network) so it can keep its owner informed of their location even when they are miles away. In any case, the condition remains that a person with an iPhone/iPad passes by (at a sufficient distance). Accessories retailer SellCell has now done an interesting survey in which more than 3 respondents took part and answered whether or not they were even interested in this piece.
The results of the mentioned surveys are quite surprising and show how popular AirTags actually are. Specifically, 61% of iPhone or iPad users plan to purchase this locator, while the remaining 39% are not interested. 54% of the respondents are of the opinion that the product is available at a great price, while according to 32% the price is rather reasonable and according to 14% it is high and should be lower. Respondents were also asked what they thought was the best thing about this news. Almost half, namely 42% of those surveyed, say that the best thing is reliability thanks to the secure Find network. 19% then argue for a fair price, 15% for strong security and privacy, 10% for a replaceable battery, 6% for a lot of accessories, 5,3% for the possibility of personalizing the product by engraving and 2,7% for a design that is better than the competition.
In the end, the survey also focused on whether apple buyers plan to buy just one AirTag or a pack of four. 57% of respondents in this direction choose a multi-pack, while the remaining 43% will buy locators one at a time. Of course, the simple question was not forgotten: "What do you plan to monitor with AirTag?" In this regard, the introduction of the partner is rather surprising. The responses were as follows:
- Keys - 42,4%
- Pets – 34,8%
- Baggage - 30,6%
- Wheel - 25,8%
- Wallet/purse - 23,3%
- AirPods case - 19%
- Children - 15%
- Car - 10,2%
- Drone – 7,6%
- Partner - 6,9%
- TV remote control - 4%
- Laptop bag/backpack – 3%
At the same time, we launched a similar survey on our Twitter. So if you have an account on this social network, please vote in the poll below and let us know if the CZ/SK community of apple growers is equally interested in AirTag.
According to the survey @sellcellphone 61% of apple buyers plan to purchase an AirTag. Let's try something similar here, in the CZ/SK community. Are you planning to purchase an AirTag? (Please click yes even if you already have the locator at home or have ordered it)
Thanks for every RT! 🙏🏼

I'm not a die-hard apple fan, but I bought an Air Tag. I've had it since day one. They say it will be useful for my eternal search for keys :-) And my experience? Even though I only have an iPhone eight, I don't mind not having the U1 chip or whatever it's called. It has a range of only ten meters anyway. To do this, it is enough to trigger an audio signal in the AirTag so that you can hear where it is. Anyway, the keys are somewhere in the barracks, in the pocket of the jacket, etc. The same with the wallet. I love the commercials where the Air tag is waiting for the suitcase, maybe somewhere in London and I can find it there? Sure. Either someone steals your suitcase in the first minute, or at the very least the Air tag hits. It's the same with the wallet. Watch the bike with him? Nonsense. The probability that people will walk around with a properly set iPhone is slim. But the possibility is there. More like pseudo-soothing. I'm not saying the Air Tag is complete crap, but don't get your hopes up about how effective it is.
