It was January 9, 2007 when Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone to the world. It wasn't perfect, it was rather stupid, and its equipment was actually laughable considering the competition. But he was different and approached mobile phones differently. It was a revolution. But does another product from Apple's current portfolio deserve to be remembered in this way? Of course.

It's every year that the world remembers the introduction of the iPhone, as well as the death of Steve Jobs. We do not say that it is not good, because the iPhone really redefine what smartphones look like and today it is the best-selling phone in the world. But what happened after him?

The iPad was introduced on January 27, 2010 and it sure was an interesting device. But if we're being honest, it's just an overgrown iPhone without the possibility of classic phone functions. Moreover, considering the declining market, the question is how long he will be here with us. It is quite possible that it will be replaced by another product, when the Vision series may be best suited for this. Certainly not with the current model, but with a future and cheaper one, quite possibly yes.

After all, how the year 2023 will be remembered will also depend on the success of the Vision series. Perhaps in ten years we will be writing "Apple Vision Pro was introduced 10 years ago" and perhaps you will read the article through some future spatial computer of the company.

What about smart watches?

The iPad may have been unlucky or lucky to be the founder of the segment. Until then, we only had electronic book readers like the Amazon Kindle on the market, but not a full-fledged tablet. So he had nothing to change and perhaps it was all the more difficult for him to enter the market because he had to find his customers.

Just as the iPhone is the best-selling smartphone and the iPad is the best-selling tablet, the Apple Watch is the best-selling watch (not just a smartwatch). It should be remembered that just as the iPhone shook the phone market, they shook the smartwatch market. They weren't the first, but they were the first that could really offer what was expected from a true smartwatch.

Moreover, they gave the world a clear iconic design that many tried and still try to copy more or less successfully, even after so many years. The first Apple Watch model, also referred to as Series 0, was presented on September 9, 2014. It is quite possible that we will already be expecting an anniversary edition in the form of the Apple Watch X model this year, since in 2016 we saw two series, i.e. Apple Watch Series 1 and 2 and Apple Watch Series 9 are currently on the market.
