He won't rest and won't. When there is an opportunity to copy anything, get inspired anywhere and make money from it, Samsung just goes for it. He already tried for "his" iMac two years ago, when he introduced the Smart Monitor M8, which was really strongly inspired by the design of the iMac. Now there is a new All-in-one PC.

When Apple introduced the 2021" iMac in 24, many were blown away by its design. It was something fresh and bold in the multitude of color variations. Samsung responded to this "only" with its smart monitor, which can work on its own, but only has the Tizen operating system. It launches Office applications and streaming platforms, but that's about the end of it.

Samsung's new product is called All-In-One Pro and it is not the creation of a portfolio, because Samsung has been producing computers for many years, and since last year it has had one representative of the "all-in-one" computer segment among them. This was a true clone of the 24" iMac, even with the criticized chin. But the news from the South Korean company shows how the future iMac without a chin could look really elegant.

On the other hand, is Apple inspired?

The All-In-One Pro has a metal frame with an ultra-thin 6,5mm body. Samsung claims its shape gives users more free desk space. Even the wireless keyboard and mouse have a metal body, offering a unified design. The computer has a 27" 4K screen, which is 13% larger than last year's model. It also features 3D speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos sound.

It has an unspecified Intel Core Ultra processor, which offers higher CPU and GPU performance than the 5th generation Intel Core i13 chip used in last year's model. In the base, it will be available with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD storage. It is not clear if they can be upgraded though (we would assume so for the disc). The full-size keyboard has a dedicated Microsoft Copilot AI key, while the mouse has a minimalist design.

There's HDMI, several USB Type-A ports, an Ethernet port and a 3,5mm headphone port. Wireless connections include Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E. It also has a built-in webcam for video calls, which, however, was not mentioned. The system is Windows 11 Home with applications working with Samsung's Galaxy ecosystem (Buds Auto Switch, Multi Control, Quick Share and Second Screen). There is also Windows Phone Link for a seamless connection with an Android phone.

The computer was introduced to the domestic South Korean market at a price of approximately $1 (i.e. CZK 470). It will be available from April 35. In the end, it's not such a misery, thanks to the larger 22K display, when Samsung targets more professional-minded users with a more settled dark color, reminiscent of the iMac Pro. The problem is that a computer simply cannot have success. Samsung distributes its computers to a relatively narrow market, which does not include the Czech Republic.
