Today we received two interesting pieces of news shared by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. He first focused on the relatively long-awaited iPad mini, which many sources predicted that we will see in the first half of this year. According to the latest information, this will not be the case anyway. Kuo points to the delay, due to which we will not see the release of this little thing until the second half of 2021.

What the iPad mini Pro could look like

In his report, the analyst first pointed to increased sales in the case of iPads, which should also be helped by the new Pro model, which was revealed to the world only on April 20. Kuo therefore believes that Apple will be able to replicate the success of the iPad mini as well. This expected piece should boast an 8,4″ display, narrower bezels and a classic Home Button combined with Touch ID. Disappointment is likely to await those expecting a redesign along the lines of last year's iPad Air. According to various leaks, the Cupertino giant is not preparing for this step.

Ming-Chi Kuo also focused on the arrival of the so-called flexible iPhone in his note to investors. Such a device with a bitten apple logo has been talked about practically since 2019, when the Samsung Galaxy Fold was introduced to the world. Gradually, various leaks spread on the Internet, among which, of course, messages from Kuo were not missing. After a long pause, we received some interesting news. Right now, Apple should be working intensively on the development of a flexible iPhone with an 8″ flexible QHD+ OLED display, while it should arrive on the market as early as 2023.

Flexible iPhone Concepts:

Flexible smartphones are becoming more and more popular, and Kuo is of the opinion that in the future it will be a segment that no major player will be able to miss, which of course also applies to Apple. The use of special display technology is still expected, which could give the product from Cupertino an advantage. More detailed information is not yet known. Anyway, Kuo still added information about a potential sale. Apple is expected to sell roughly 15 to 20 million units in the year of release.
