But, among other things, it is also characteristic of rechargeable batteries that their capacity and performance deteriorate over time. Fortunately, this does not mean that you have to immediately exchange your iPhone for a new model in such a case - you just need to contact the service and have only the battery replaced.

Pavel Jelic If the reason for replacing your iPhone's battery is not covered by the warranty and you do not meet the conditions for a free replacement (we will describe them in the next paragraph), such a service can be relatively expensive under certain conditions. But it is definitely not worth saving on battery replacement. Apple itself on its website encourages users to use the services of authorized services and always prefer original batteries with the appropriate safety certification.
If your iPhone happens to be unable to recognize the battery or verify its certification after replacing it, you will see a notification on your smartphone screen with the title "Important Battery Message" and the message that the iPhone battery could not be verified. Important battery messages will appear on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR in such cases. If a non-original battery is used, the relevant data will not be displayed in Settings -> Battery -> Battery condition.
When does the battery need to be replaced?
After using your iPhone for a certain period of time, you may see a notification in Settings -> Battery that the battery may need to be replaced. This message may appear on iOS devices running iOS 10.2.1 - 11.2.6. For newer versions of the iOS operating system, this message is not displayed, but in Settings -> Battery -> Battery Health you will find useful information regarding the battery status of your iPhone. Free battery replacement program
Many users are still using iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. Some of these models may have problems with the device turning on and the battery functioning. Battery messages
If you've been using your iPhone for a long time, it's a good idea to pay attention to the messages that may appear after a while in Settings -> Battery -> Battery health. With new iPhones, you may notice that the figure in the "Maximum battery capacity" section indicates 100%. This information indicates the capacity of your iPhone's battery compared to the capacity of a brand new battery, and the respective percentage naturally decreases over time. Depending on your battery status, you may see performance reports in the relevant section of Settings.
If the battery is fine and can handle normal performance, you will see a message in the settings that the battery is currently supporting the maximum possible performance of the device. If your iPhone unexpectedly shuts down, power management features are always activated, you will see a notification in the settings about the shutdown of the iPhone due to insufficient battery power and then turning on the phone's power management. If you turn off this power management, you won't be able to turn it back on, and it will automatically activate in the event of another unexpected shutdown. In the event of a significant deterioration of the battery condition, you will be shown a message alerting you to the possibility of replacement at an authorized service center with a link to other useful information.
