Reading PDFs on the iPad is a pleasure, and there are a number of readers for this purpose. Although one of the best, GoodReader, can download PDF files directly from the Internet, it doesn't hurt to install the discreet iPDF on your iPhone or iPad. Its Pro version will cost you less than one euro, but you can also get by with the free Lite version of the application.
What are the advantages of iPDF? You can do without browsing the web pages, just enter a term in the search window. The program will then automatically find files in the Internet waters that might interest you. And after that, all you have to do is download the file to your iPad/iPhone with one tap of your finger.
So I understand iPDF more as such a utility, not as a regular reader. It doesn't offer the comfort and features to compete with the competition. But it will save you time. Sometimes you have to wade through a mixture of links and articles before you come across an attachment/PDF version. The iPDF utility skips this process and immediately offers that particular file.
The downside of the free version is that it will display a certain number of results found on the page, and to show you more, it will force you to try an ad (not very long, but still annoying).
However, the strange thing is that if you need to visit the official page of the application, only the page of the Fubii company will open. And it only contains a link to its other product. The iTunes Store will also take you to the same (clueless) place if you click on the iPDF support link.
Thanks for the tip. I have already tried several applications on the iPad for PDF. However, I have not found a program for reading PDFs that will open a file in Adobe Acrobat created with a password to open it. Can anyone advise?
If I'm not mistaken, iBooks can open a PDF with a password
2Lubor: I think GoodReader also opens encrypted PDF.
However, I also have a question for the editors... Would it be possible to do a test of programs for the iPad (iPhone) that serve as File Viewers (Air Sharing, iFiles, GoodReader...). It would certainly please a lot of people…
Hello, I'm joining. I have probably bought all the programs that are worth something for managing files. Many functions are repeated in them and in others they are unique. Such a nicely arranged table would definitely help
