Apple released a new Shot on iPhone campaign video on its YouTube channel yesterday. In the three-minute spot, viewers can see the region of American Samoa - a territory in the South Pacific Ocean, and at the same time follow the story of a young athlete there, Eddie Siaumau.

The area of American Samoa is referred to in the video as a "football island" - athletes who come from there are 56 times more likely to make it to the National League (NFL). Seventeen-year-old Eddie Siamau also has this potential, whose story was captured on his iPhone by photographer and director Steven Counts. Eddie recently won a full scholarship to college.

The video was shot on an iPhone XS using accessories such as the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 stabilizer, the FiLMiC Pro app, the Joby GripTight PRO Video GP tripod and the NiSi Smartphones Filter Kit. In the footage, we can watch Siaumau's training on the beach and in the gym, and we won't be deprived of shots of the local landscape either.
