If you are among those who are planning to buy a new MacBook Air and you follow the events surrounding this product, then you are probably waiting for the renewal of this series. In its current, very successful generation, it has been on the market since autumn last year. In general, the transition to Sandy Bridge processors and the expansion of the Thunderbolt interface, promising much higher data flows compared to classic USB and FireWire, are expected.
The release of the new MacBook Air is imminent. It was speculated about June, now specified to June-July. The latest information says that the only brake is the start of sales of the new Mac OS X Lion operating system. Of course, Apple would like to release it on new machines. So it looks like a joint launch of Mac OS X Lion on the new MacBook Air.
So customers are asking for new Air models. In anticipation of the new generation, sales are falling, retailers are reducing inventory, geeks like us are "crawling" all sorts of websites and forums in an attempt to know as much as possible and as soon as possible. Today, the MacRumors server added fuel to this sparkling atmosphere, which published information that the new product could also be offered in a black version. He does not mention specific sources and forwards that the information is from unconfirmed, but several sources from which he recently received this tip. Speculation is that black anodized aluminum could appear as an option for the new Air, but probably only for the highest configurations.
Has Apple let us have our fill of silver anodized aluminum? Will it start offering black as an exclusive option in the near future, or is it just trying to cater more to more conservative "bussiness" customers, for whom black is more discreet? The next few days will tell, but I believe the black one would be beautiful, I would take it now.
Isn't it just another "duck"? It will be clear in a few days. Another report from MacRumors says that there are several test MacBook Airs painted with black powder paint. But Jobs suspended the offer of the black version. The black coating looks good, but with wet hands the computer feels rough and cheap to the touch. Maybe we will see in the future.

It's true that the silver one is already peeking a little. But I don't know if I like these renders
OT: I bought an iP yesterday, the E (Edge) icon lights up normally, but the internet is not working.. Meanwhile, I have intermittent internet. Does anyone know what it could be? :(
1/ Look in settings/preferences.
2/ On the web, e.g. via Google, search for iPhone internet settings.
3/ Visit your dealer and ask him where the problem might be.
If the E icon is lit, it means that the operator's EDGE data service is available. The E icon lights up even if we do not have a prepaid data plan, it simply informs about the availability of EDGE in the place where we are. You don't mention what iPhone you have, what firmware, etc., but generally in Settings–>General–>Network (or similar) the word internet should be filled in the APN line. I was struggling with this a few years ago and as soon as I filled in the internet in the APN line, everything works as it should :) Good luck.
I have an iP 4, iOS 4.3.3. I have prepaid internet for some time. I have iphone.vodafone.cz written in APN. I got my microsim yesterday.
And don't you happen to have 3G turned on? However, my connection does not work if I have 3G on and only EDGE or GPRS is available on that land
I don't have, it just happened that I copied iphone.vodafone.cz to the Internet, and Opera Mini was running for a while :-D. Now the internet is not working at all...
How about going to a Vodafone store, I think they'll be happy to help. My internet stopped working by itself, no matter how much I set it up.
Mackenzi: This is what you're talking about in some advice for iOS toys, not under an article about MB Air!
Ad black color - BlackBook has been here before, I hope it really WAS and NEVER WILL BE. This render gives me the impression of cheapness and that doesn't suit Apple.
P.
I don't see, I don't know. As nice as it is, yes, but a silver Pro is a silver Pro.
After all, something like this could be done "at home". So I'm thinking of disassembling the existing MB and having it anodized (cracked). Or am I wrong?
In my opinion, similar atrocity as the iPhone4 and iPad2... Of course, it will find all the customers.
It's obvious you don't know what you're talking about!!!!!! White is white and further I prefer no comment…….
The real silver design is great - that's it.
Cerny will look like AuŠUS for 6,000 CZK…..
But it won't provoke Horst Fuchs :) and a lot of anti-apple activists :D
Horst is no longer against HW Apple. He just still can't say goodbye to Microsoft's software, ie Windows. But he will understand in time :-)
Really,
Horst is no longer against ios on iphone, but there is still a long way to ios on mac….
Yesterday I watched a video of the nova N9. I don't need a Nokia, but I have already put it back, but it will still be far from an iPhone. Apple has huge potential in applications. The NFS game is about 150MB here and 23MB on the Nokia, so there will probably be a little more difference in quality.
The iPhone set the direction, set it right, and other manufacturers are trying to run in the same direction. They're not doing very well, they have the wrong azimuth and are several light years behind, but it's still good because Apple doesn't rest on its laurels……
Otherwise, for Libor, I don't hide the fact that I criticize mac os and I've never had one, but if Comrade Jesus brings Air, I promise that I'll keep my mac os for at least 2-3 days before stuffing Gates in there. Then I'll get back to you with first impressions…….
They should give a matte display, everything around is reflected on that shiny mirror...
for God's sake no!!! Way back!
The black Macbook already exists and looks beautiful, so the black Air will definitely be nicer too!
