This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing on the moon, when astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin made an indelible mark in modern history. Apple is also joining the celebrations with a video promoting a new series called For All Mankind, which will be shown on the upcoming Apple TV+ streaming service.

In a video that Apple published on the official YouTube channel dedicated to Apple TV, the creators of the mentioned series remember the impact that the landing on the moon had on humanity. But the spot does not deprive us of interesting shots from the upcoming series. The first official trailer we already had the opportunity to see the series during the Keynote opening this June's WWDC. In the latest video, the creators of the series not only remember the Apollo moon landing, but also talk about their work for the said show.

The series, which was directed by Donald D. Moore, tells about a theoretical world, the center of which is the unceasing space race between the United States and Russia, around which all world and social events revolve. The first series is to consist of a total of ten episodes, each of which will be approximately one hour long. The series features, for example, Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman, Wrenn Schmidt, Shantel VanSanten, Sarah Jones or perhaps Jodi Balfour. For All Mankind will be one of the first releases to accompany the launch of Apple's new streaming service. As we know, the official launch of Apple TV+ will happen already in the fall, and the majority of the content will be original creations with a mostly star-studded cast.
