Adam Kos March is one of those times when Apple presents new color variants of its iPhones in recent years. This year is no different, although in some respects it is. He did not present the new color variant of the iPhone during his spring Keynote, and the Pro model does not receive it, but only the basic iPhone 14.
There has been a lot of speculation about what color Apple will give its new iPhones in the end. With respect to previous years, there was more talk of green, but previous leaks clearly mentioned yellow. In the end, it is the second mentioned, and you will be able to purchase the iPhone 14 in the aforementioned yellow color variant. The iPhone 14 Pro models are unlucky, nothing changes with them and they are therefore only available in the original four colors, namely dark purple, gold, silver and space black.

Yellow on the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus expands the already rich color options, which include blue, purple, dark ink, star white and (PRODUCT RED) red. Pre-orders for the yellow model start on March 10th at 14:00, it goes on sale from March 14th. The new color version has no effect on the price, so the yellow iPhone 14 still starts at CZK 26 and the yellow iPhone 490 Plus at CZK 14.

When Apple introduced the entire iPhone 2022 series in September 14, the Pro versions took all the glory. This was due not only to their new 48 MPx camera, but above all to the Dynamic Island element, which replaced the cutout in the display. But the basic iPhones brought so little innovation that they were met with fairly justified criticism. In addition, they sell really poorly, at least compared to the iPhone 14 Pro, where the larger Plus model is a clear loser.

The new color could thus attract several new customers who were hesitant until now and could not completely choose from the available color palette. Apple probably doesn't need to support the Pro models, because after their fatal shortage from the pre-Christmas period, the company is still busy supplying the market with their classic versions, let alone adding work with a new color variant. In addition, the gold version of the Pro series can be taken as a certain alternative to yellow.
