Eight days after the official release, the iOS 7 update arrives from Apple, this time for all devices. Apple last week released update 7.0.1 intended for the newly introduced iPhone 5s and 5c, which fixed problems with Touch ID. The new update is called 7.0.2 and fixes some bugs.
First of all, this is a security bug where it was possible to access photos or email of a locked phone with a code lock during a certain sequence, which we informed you about previously. The update also restores the Greek keyboard options when entering the passcode. You can download and install the update directly on your device v Settings > General > Software Update.
Let's hope that in the near future they will also remove the other errors and most of the unfinished business.
iPhone 4 now works a little faster :) It's a nice update :)
Okay.
so I'm updating now :) but I still want iOS 6 :/
But I think I already know how to get it :)
And how?
I still have a problem with setting wallpapers on the ipad 3, that would also be useful..
I confirm the acceleration of the iPhone 4 :) Animations don't jerk anymore :)
Keyboard rotation on iph5 is still jerky. But I would say that the transition animations were sped up. Hence the feeling of higher speed.
I don't know about you, but the calendar bothers me terribly... synchronization 0. When I put something in the calendar on the iPhone 4s, it doesn't show up on the Mac and iPad...
After updating to 7.0.2. the hotspot option has disappeared on my iPad 3, do you know how to return it?
When you look at genres in the music app, does Soundtrack have an image? :/
They better fix the terrible iOS7 design.
The truth is, the design is terrible, they couldn't do better :.-(
Most importantly, the "Decline" button for receiving a call is finally back.
I do not have it ?:/
I do - on an iPhone 5. But it is possible that it is because I changed the region from the Czech Republic to Europe in the settings - anything is possible.
And where can I find it? :) or does anyone know what it could be?
So now I found out that when the phone is locked (with a pin), only the slide works to accept the call and it has to be rejected by double-clicking the power button.
When my phone is unlocked, both buttons are there - accept and reject...
I'm really cursing the day I made the update and I'm cursing Apple even more for canceling the signature of the iOS6 firmware in a hurry so that it can't be undone...
That's what I came up with too, unfortunately we probably won't get the button
Hi, is there any way to bring up the iOS 7 wizard that started after installation? Resp. can I find somewhere a list of changes/news in iOS 7 that was readable on the iOS device during the update itself?
Until they at least redo the calendar - I don't even want to see iOS 7! I saw a colleague who already bought a calendar from another manufacturer and shrugs his shoulders at the changes for the worse in iOS 7. There are too many mistakes - the first update, like last year and the year before, 1-2 weeks after the launch, but this year they have so many tasks ahead of them that they won't make it in a year at this snail's pace! The whole thing is that everyone is still buying and installing it ….. as long as this trend lasts – APPLE will shamelessly plow with us…. and even arrogantly proclaim that it is the best. Apple is now only the BEST businessman, but I stop perceiving it as a technological leader and reject it!
I have a similar opinion.. Although I installed iOS 7 and I'm trying to get used to it.. I'm a little worried that after the death of Jobs, my mother will do something similar to MacOS and we'll have two tiled subways.. I've never seen Apple, good luck Jobs' "arrogance" and "aggressiveness"..but with the passage of time I have to admit that the man was really PERFECT and that he knew how to arrange his own affairs. Even now I understood that he really did a lot in that company (before his death it would not be possible for iOS to look the way I look).. things are going downhill with apple and I'm quite sorry.. because I have to switch back to android and I really don't want to buy a HP... Unfortunately, maybe in a few years I won't really have anything else left..
Greetings to all Apple users (even those who come here only to relax or envy Android and WM). I personally think iOS 7 is a masterpiece. A digital masterpiece, but unfortunately too extensive to be perfect right away in version 7.0. I'm also annoyed by the falling reminders, questionable speed (iPad 3rd) and the initial "clunkiness". But that's definitely why I'm not going to condemn the brilliant and exciting environment that iOS 7 is. I'll be more than happy for every little change and improvement I install. So be a little lenient. I'm as happy as a flea that Apple decided to make this change and that it handled it the way it did. And what's more, it's free (for selfish reasons, but still..). Have fun (PS – greetings Michal Žďánský, I enjoy reading your articles)
How is it a "masterpiece"? In garish colors like from the circus? In the fact that the system dialogues blend into the background? In that you can't tell if something is a "button" or just "text"? In the fact that the graphics are unclear and the text is hard to read?
Hundreds, maybe thousands of the most capable people at Apple who worked on the development of iOS7 and overlooked such trouble according to DušanK? Ummm… You know what's the saddest thing about this time? That everyone can (… put it to yourself) express themselves about everything without general knowledge and context. Btw: I'm also not excited about some Apple steps, but I've been using ios7 since the second beta, and after the first shock (change), on the contrary, everything made much more sense. BTW: how are you managing the website? When text buttons are used and even without undeline? ;)
Yes, it's very sad - that's why you follow what you wrote, and you'd better not comment on anything if you don't have concrete arguments...
I was only reacting to your product, because you judge something based on what? What on earth is colorful on iOS7, mention of circus etc.? I've been using iO7 long enough to argue with you about your conclusions, you're welcome to argue...
I am satisfied. It works great on the iPad mini. That is, except for the calendar, which is extremely unclear, but since I use a different one than the system one, I don't care. I have already accepted the colors here. :-)) and I recognized what a button is right away, so I don't understand what anyone has problems with. :-)
I'm afraid that I'll lose something with the installation (some installed applications disappeared after iOS 7.0.1) and because iTunes reports an error on WinXP, it's not possible to backup and then install. Or is it different? Please advise after experience. Thanks.
it's no different, as I wrote above - according to the official apple service, you have to wait for the ITUNES update :-((
IP4 has sped up a bit, but it's still not enough. If I don't do something about it soon, I'm going back to ios6
it's hard.. there's no going back
Now I noticed that I don't have the songs in order, don't you know what to do with that? Before that I had it right, 1, 2, 3…. I have an iPad 3
it's sorted by albums, I have it mixed up too. At most, I deleted or merged the album names in iTunes, but unfortunately I can't connect the foun in WinXP
with iTunes so I don't know what it will do.
I don't mean the main thing, I normally have it sorted by imterpets, but when I click on an album, I have songs scattered in it, even though I'm fine in iTunes
I read on some forum that if you restore the settings (without deleting) the songs will be aligned as they should be, but then you have to set all the settings again.
Does anyone know if they have fixed the error 0xE8000003 on the new iTunes for Win XP?? iTunes has become unusable for me if I don't connect it to the IPAD :(((((And it really bothers me....
Still not, according to the oficial apple service, an iTunes update is awaited (currently several tens of millions of Windows XP users are waiting for it) - the guys from Cupertino really didn't succeed
I know this is off topic, but do you also like iTunes 11.1? I keep having problems with it on my Mac after updating.
It never fell off me, probably look for the fault elsewhere.
I was hoping to fix the keyboard. Try typing the word task twice in a row on the iPhone :-) it simply offers a circle. Interestingly, not with a capital Ú or at the beginning of a sentence. A strange error.
But I'm more annoyed by the keyboard on the iPad -
the flickering when writing hooks and dashes that they have now introduced is incredibly annoying. And they also changed the hook in ø to ŕ in the opposite way to iOS6.
I also get the most questions from less technically proficient iPad friends who have switched to iOS7 about two things:
How to turn off the application (the cross is missing there) - you have to know how to swipe up after the application preview - probably no one will figure it out intuitively. (the fact that they don't all go at once is probably not even worth commenting on :)
And the second is how to set a stronger font so that they can't read it.
Otherwise quite cool, you get used to it over time. It's basically just the little things that bother me.
Random: I consider the 3x3 icon matrix for a folder on the iPad to be a waste of space. But come on, I guess it's because of the amazing animations that make you dizzy :-) And it doesn't work to return from the folder by pinching - which I do intuitively - you have to tap next to it.
A small photo of a contact on an iPhone during a call is also not something Apple should be proud of. Well, those round heads of contacts... they didn't have to get inspired in Facebook :-)
So, like Dominik Materna, I hope that everything will be fine-tuned in time. But I definitely don't experience the states of Bleší štěstí, and therefore I don't have the feeling of genius from iOS7 :-)
ps
Also, it seems to me that we have somehow died down on the map debate. I kind of hoped that the part of the highway that was added to us in southern Bohemia would already be there.
I am an iPhone 5 owner and was actually forced to upgrade. I did it on the iPad too.
My experience:
iPad OK - it can be done
iPhone - pretty major problems:
1) consumption has increased significantly even when everything is turned off,
2) the phone does not turn off when the case is closed - so I mean the screen. Before the upgrade, it went off even when I put the phone to my ear. Not now!! – significant impact on consumption.
3) at least once every three days I have to hard turn the phone off and on because something bites.
4) After the upgrade, the phone automatically requires a password when waking up. Fortunately, the password was the same as the PIN, so I unlocked it. I can't figure out where to cancel it.
So I'm not thrilled at all. If anyone knows how to solve my problems, please help.
Díky
4) settings – general – code lock – turn off the code lock – I preferred to restart
I had the same problem (maybe).
I have an iPhone 4s and I probably shouldn't have installed iOS 7. It crashes once a day, the graphics are enlarged x times and that's it. Can't even turn it off or anything else. By trial and error I manage to turn it off in maybe an hour. After turning on everything OK. It's also true with the consumption, I don't use it more intensively than before and yet at work I reach 10%, before it was easily 50%.
I've had an iPhone for almost 5 years, nothing like this has ever happened before, I've only been singing its praises.
Well, you probably need to wait for the next version of iOS.
Hello, I would like to ask about the error that occurred to me after downloading the new iTunes 11.1, I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.0.2, I can't sync my iPhone in iTunes at all. Do you know where the error could be please? Thank you.
