Control Center

Probably the most famous way you can turn on the flashlight on the iPhone is through control center. It's not complicated - on an iPhone with Touch ID, swipe up from the bottom edge, on an iPhone with Face ID, swipe down from the top right edge to open Control Center. Here, just click on to (de)activate element with lamp icon. If you don't have this element here, go to Settings → Control Center, where below in the category Additional controls click on + Flashlight, which will move up. Then you can also change the order of this element.

Lock screen

Another way, which is also extremely easy to turn on the flashlight, is directly through the locked screen. Here it is enough to simply pressed or held their finger on the flashlight button, which is located v lower left corner. Of course, deactivation also takes place in the same way.

Tapping on the back

Would you like to have the option to activate the flashlight by tapping on the back of the iPhone? If so, you can. Apple introduced this feature a few years ago for all iPhones 8 and later. Practically, thanks to it, you get two extra buttons that can perform any action – in our case, (de)activating the flashlight. To set it up, just go to Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap, where you then choose Double tapping or Triple tap according to your preference. Below only subsequently tick possibility Lamp.

You can easily activate the flashlight on your iPhone directly from the desktop, i.e. from the home screen. In this case, however, it is already necessary that you create a shortcut, which you can then place on the desktop. Anyway, if you don't know how to do it, below you will find a link with which you can add the already prepared shortcut to your gallery and then use it. After clicking on the link below all you have to do is tap a button + Add shortcut. Then click on the tile with the shortcut in the upper right corner three dots icon, and then press down share icon. Then just tap on Add to desktop, and then on Add at the top right. This is added shortcut for turning on or off the desktop flashlight. Finally, I'll just mention that you can also add this shortcut to the widget.

You can download the shortcut for (de)activating the flashlight on the desktop here

The last way to turn on the flashlight on the iPhone is by using the Siri voice assistant. In this case, you just need to do it first activated either by pressing a button or by speaking a command Hey Siri. Once you've done so, just speak the command Turn on flashlight pros power on lamps, or Turn off flashlight pros shutdown flashlights. To quickly turn on the flashlight, just say a sentence Hey Siri, turn on the flashlight.
