Coursera is an educational website where everyone can find something for themselves. Here you will find courses, one-off lessons and entire educational programs across all possible topics. Some courses are completely free, others - after completion of which you will receive a certificate - are paid. If you want to practice your English and gain new knowledge at the same time, Coursera is a really great idea - just be aware that you will have to search for free courses for a while.

The Khan Academy website is intended primarily for younger users, but older students, those who are preparing for exams, or adults who would like to refresh their lessons from earlier years will also find it useful here. But the Khan Academy site also offers content and services for parents or teachers. The number of topics you can cover here is limited to six, but all materials are completely free.

Do you want to learn how to develop iOS apps, dance salsa perfectly, become an expert in the field of essential oils, improve your work with MS Office or perhaps learn to play the harmonica? On the Udemy website, you will find an incredibly rich library of all kinds of courses. Their advantage is high quality, professional guidance and comprehensiveness, but the courses here are not paid. Considering their quality and length, the price, which in conversion is around 300 crowns, is more than pleasant.
Academic Earth
Academic Earth is a very interesting website where you can find a number of different free courses and lecture series in all possible fields from mathematics to psychology and computer technology to even sociology. All the lectures available are of a very good standard and are taught by professionals, and you can also find online courses from universities around the world. You can choose courses based on the criteria you specify, or you can simply browse the individual categories and choose which topic interests you the most.

Alison is one of the other comprehensive and information-packed sites where you can learn a lot of new knowledge for free. Here you will find a number of different courses in fields such as mathematics, computer technology, healthcare or even languages. But you can also learn some practical skills here. Alison's website is in English and requires registration, but you don't pay for the basic courses here.
