Apple launched at seven o'clock yesterday evening 2. developer beta of the upcoming iOS 11.1 operating system. The new version, which is currently only available to those who have a developer account, mainly brought a new set of more than a hundred emoticons and activated the Apple Pay Cash function. In addition, it also brought several minor fixes and changes. However, the new beta brought back a feature that many iPhone owners were waiting for - the 3D Touch gesture for multitasking.

This popular gesture was for some reason removed in the original version of iOS 11. As we already wrote, it was not supposed to be permanent solutionrather, it was a temporary solution that the developers had to resort to due to some problem inside the system. It was known that this gesture would be coming back to iOS, and it looks like it will be as soon as iOS 11.1.

The 3D Touch multitasking gesture has been working on iPhones since the 6S models. You can see how it is actually used in the short video below. It's basically stupid, but once you get used to the gesture, it's hard to switch back to the classic double press of the Home Button. The new beta is sure to have even more surprises in store. As more news begins to emerge about what's new inside, we'll let you know. Those who do not have a developer account can look forward to tonight, when the public beta version should also arrive.
