The App Store was officially opened on July 10, 2008. A day later, it was possible to download the first applications after a firmware update. 1 billion was downloaded on 23 April 2009, 2 billion September 29, 2009,
10 billion accessed 22 January 2011. Boundary 15 billion fell on July 7, 2011.

Don't you have too many zeros? 25 billion my should have zero nine, not twelve. You have 25 trillion. In the US it's called billion billion. "4 downloaded apps for every person on the planet" if there were so many zeros, we wouldn't move here ;-)
