The battle in the field of music streaming is going on at full speed, as evidenced by the latest move by Spotify, the clear market leader so far. The Swedish company has just launched the same family plan that Apple Music offers: six listeners for 9 euros (240 crowns).
Unlike its competitors, Spotify has not yet had a similarly advantageous family subscription offer. It offered its premium service for five people for $30, which was quite a disadvantage compared to Apple Music or Google Play Music.
Now Spotify has finally caught up with its competitors, which is great news for all its users. For nine euros per month, which is roughly 240 crowns, up to six users can use Spotify Premium, each with their own account and library.
Yes, that's right and I can finally say goodbye Apple music, welcome Spotify. Apple music didn't excite me, but it was more convenient for the family. I've been using Spotify a lot anyway - for discovering new music (and if you're aiming outside the mainstream) it's a thousand times better than Apple music. It offers the same thing over and over, it forces music that you don't listen to, it's confusing, it's difficult to search in it, and sometimes it makes streaming annoying.
I guess, I couldn't have written it better. Since I'm completely on Apple, I logically gave Apple Music a chance, but after the 9 months that they almost didn't move it anywhere, I stopped bothering with it. I'm constantly playing some Maroons, Drakes, Rihannas or Taylor Swifts, which I haven't even played once. I'm starting to suspect that their "exclusive content" on the mainsteam pop is also exclusive in terms of contracts with its creators, in the sense that it shamelessly promotes them, even if the user is not interested in it. I have no other logical explanation for this, Spotify does not behave this annoyingly.
yes marron5 was one of the reasons why I stopped swimming after the Apple Music trial... I have about 45 albums bought in itunes. not even one like that... and he gives me marron 5, something I really don't like... when it comes to recommending songs, I've never been more satisfied with LastFm

They just gave a ride in his established trend. :from
It just seems to me that it is not so "interesting" anymore. I love Spotify!
And a summer discount for everyone for €0,99 per account ????
When I logged in via Facebook, it said that this offer is not available for me and the promotion on the main page has changed to 5.99 per month... :-/
I would try logging in on another machine, possibly through ID, not FB.
I ALREADY used the PROMO when connecting for free and 0,99 and yet they left me this promotion. Maybe because I've been with them since the beginning of Spotify CZ.
I opened a Philippine account and I have it there for 68 CZK per month :)
That's what I'd like to be able to do... :-)
