Aids for drawing and writing on the iPad are full of shops. Despite the different brands and manufacturers, they are often one and the same and it is not easy to separate the wheat from the chaff. But FiftyThree has now introduced a stylus that you will definitely recognize at first glance.

It's called Pencil, and as the name suggests, it looks like a massive carpenter's pencil. It is much larger than we are used to with styluses, and according to the manufacturer, it should fit better in the hand. Also unique is the optional design in walnut wood and the absence of any buttons. A stylus can only do with a tip on one side and a rubber surface on the other.

The pencil is tailor-made for the application paper, which comes from the same manufacturer - FiftyThree. Linking both of its products offers some interesting benefits. For example, it is possible to rest your hand on the display and continue to draw or write with the stylus with impunity. Even so, we can use touch on some things, for example to blur.

Pencil will also give Paper users the benefit of automatically unlocking all the extra features that normally require paying a few dollars through in-app payments.

The new stylus from FiftyThree will be available on the American market for $50 (approx. CZK 1000) for the graphite metal version and $60 (approx. CZK 1200) for the wooden version. You can download Paper from the App Store free.
