The end of the year belongs to the traditional rankings of the best or worst that happened in the past 12 months. Apple usually occupies the top spots among the best or best-selling products, but it also received negative points in CNN's ranking. His "Antennagate" even ranks first among tech flops.

The news site CNN has examined the year 2010 in detail and compiled a list of the 10 biggest technological flops. Perhaps surprisingly, Apple made it into the top ten twice.

Everyone certainly knows the ruckus that came with the launch of the iPhone 4. In the summer, the new Apple phone reached its first customers and they slowly began to report problems with the signal. The new design of the iPhone 4 antenna had one shortcoming. If the user gripped the device "dexterously", the signal dropped completely. As time went on, the whole "Antennagate" affair slowly died down, but CNN is now bringing it up again.

The CNN website states:

“At first Apple claimed there was no problem. Then they said it was a software issue. Then they partially admitted the problems and allowed users to get their covers for free. Then they said again that the problem was no longer there and they stopped giving out the cases. A few months later, this case is finally over, and it obviously didn't hurt the phone's sales. However, this thing can definitely be called a 'flop'.'

3D television came in second place, followed by the grossly unsuccessful Microsoft Kin phone. But that would be digressing too much. Let's skip to the tenth place, where there is another creation from the Apple workshop, namely iTunes Ping. Apple introduced its new social network with great fanfare, but it just hasn't caught on, at least not yet. However, it certainly does not look like it should have any significant success, unless Apple finds a recipe to revive it.
