Well, it finally worked last night, but first it found an update in iTunes, but it wouldn't download, then I probably hit some kind of loophole and it was downloaded in a few minutes, but I was a little scared when it crashed during the update on the phone and the phone looked "dead" and kept trying to connect to iTunes, where it threw an error, but luckily it succeeded after about the x-th attempt, phew :-)
The same thing happened to me when updating iPad 2. Enough space, downloaded via WiFi and after checking the update and starting it, it went out and only restore via iTunes. Entire iPad deleted…

The package itself has a size of 2 GB and it is compressed, then it has to be unpacked, so it takes up as much space + something extra, because it is no longer compressed. If you downloaded it via iTunes, this space will be used up on your computer. As soon as the unpacked package is verified that it is not damaged, the OS in the iPhone will be overwritten and it will be deleted again = released. Come on, try to engage your head.

I suggest a better solution, update with iTunes and you don't have to delete anything. If you are doing an OTA update (over the air = without a cable directly in the tablet), then it needs space to download the package and unpack it. If you do it via iTunes, it will be downloaded to the computer, it will be unpacked there, it will verify that the package is not broken and the OS will be overwritten directly to the mobile phone/tablet and no extra free space is needed.

It looks like you're using the wrong iCloud account. iCloud account is used for synchronizing and connecting your devices.
Hey guys. I upgraded to ios8 on my iPad 2 and found out one annoying thing. I have a 3G module there and after a few hours of operation, when I wake it up, it has no signal and says No Service. Just turning off the ipad completely will help. Has anyone encountered this?

The Speedtest application on the iPhone 5S/16GB shows when connected to wifi and in the same place as the iPad download over 3MB, while the iPad shows only 0,1MB, nothing can be downloaded on it as far as the Internet is concerned.
