Apple Music, the music streaming service, has been up and running for over two weeks now, and questions are starting to be heard as to what other area Apple will want to shake up the stagnant waters and aim for a technological revolution. According to reports from recent months, it looks like Apple is also planning an attack on a related industry after trying to further conquer the music industry. The company from California is likely to try to make a change in the field of cable television in the near future.

The company is reportedly already in an advanced stage of negotiations with leading TV stations in the US, and a service that can be likened to a kind of TV streaming should be launched this fall. Apple is negotiating with stations like ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox, and if everything turns out the way they imagine in Cupertino, American viewers would no longer need a cable to watch premium channels. All they need is an internet connection and an Apple TV with subscription channels.

If we were to add the option of TV broadcasting to music streaming, we have a very interesting combination, thanks to which Apple would create a versatile media hub for every living room. As always, in the case of subscription TV channels, Apple would take a commission of 30% of the sales, which would be extremely lucrative for the company. Perhaps the level of profit for Apple was one of the problems, due to which a similar service did not appear earlier.

According to early estimates, the subscription price should range from $10 to $40. However, it is difficult to say whether Apple will do well enough in this area, as it has well-established competition next to it in the form of Netflix, Hulu and others.
