Today is already two days since the last Apple Keynote, at which the apple company presented a lot of different news. As a reminder, these were AirTags location tags, a new generation of Apple TV, completely redesigned iMacs and improved iPad Pros. As for AirTags, we've been waiting for them for several long months and luckily we finally got them. But AirTags are definitely not just any localization tags. They have an ultra-broadband U1 chip and can thus function in the Najít network, which makes it possible to determine their location practically anywhere in the world.

In the event that you manage to lose an object that you have equipped with an AirTag, you can remotely activate the loss mode on the tag. As soon as someone places an iPhone next to the AirTag after activating this mode, they can simply see who the object belongs to via a link - Apple itself demonstrated the use of AirTags in this way during the presentation. But the truth is that virtually any smartphone user can identify an AirTag after it's lost mode has been activated. The only condition is that the device itself has NFC. Virtually every phone offers this technology these days, including iPhones and Android devices.

As soon as the user brings his smartphone with NFC near the AirTag, a notification will be displayed, through which he will learn everything important. This information will include the serial number of the AirTag, the date the item was marked as lost, and the owner's contact information in order to arrange for a possible return. Even though Android device users can view AirTag information, they still won't be able to use and set it up. To set up AirTag, you need an iPhone and the Find app. The price of one AirTag is CZK 890, and you can buy a set of four for a bargain price of CZK 2. Pre-orders start already tomorrow, April 990, and the first pieces will be shipped on April 23.
