Even in today's summary of historical events in the field of technology, there will certainly be no shortage of Apple products - we recall, for example, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, the iPad Pro or the Apple TV. In addition, we will also remember the discovery of a "real" computer bug.

The Real Computer "Bug" (1947)

On September 9, 1947, while troubleshooting a problem with the Harvard Mark II computer (also known as the Aiken Relay Calculator) on the grounds of Harvard University, a moth was found stuck inside the machine. The workers who were in charge of the repair wrote in the relevant record that it was "the first case when a real bug (but = bug, in English also a name indicating a bug in the computer) was found in the computer." Although this was not the first time that the term "bug" was used in connection with computer problems, since then the term "debugging", used to describe the process of removing errors on computers, has gained popularity.

Launch of PlayStation (1995)

On September 9, 1995, the Sony PlayStation game console went on sale in North America. The PlayStation first went on sale in its home country of Japan in early December 1994. It quickly gained a loyal following around the world, competing boldly with the likes of the Sega Saturn and Nintendo 64. Over time, the PlayStation saw a number of improvements and updates.

iPhone 6 and 6 Plus (2014)

On September 9, 2014, Apple introduced its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones. Both new products were significantly different from the previous iPhone 5S in terms of design and dimensions. They included a number of new features and improvements, including the Apple Pay payment system and the corresponding NFC chip for contactless payments. Along with both iPhones, the Cupertino company also presented its Apple Watch smart watch.

iPad Pro and Apple TV (2015)

On September 9, 2015, the brand new 12,9-inch iPad Pro was introduced to the world. The significantly larger (and also more expensive) tablet was intended primarily for professionals in the creative fields, and allowed, among other things, work with the Apple Pencil. Another novelty was the new generation of Apple TV with a new type of controller that was equipped with a touchpad. In addition, Apple also introduced a pair of new iPhones - the 6S and 6S Plus models, which, among other things, had the 3D Touch function.
