Today is the anniversary of the introduction of the iPhone 3GS. Apple introduced this novelty to the world in 2009, and we will briefly recall the introduction in today's installment of our series. In addition to the iPhone 3GS, we will remember the birth of Blaise Pascal.

Mathematician, physicist, writer, theologian and religious philosopher Blaise Pascal was born on June 19 in France. Among other things, Pascal is the creator of the first mechanical calculator called Pascalina, he is the author of Pascal's theorem on conic sections, the discoverer of the so-called Pascal's triangle, the author of Pascal's law and the author of a number of important works in the field of mathematics and physics. In 1662, Pascal also demonstrated a horse-drawn carriage for eight passengers called the Carosse.

Introducing the iPhone 3GS (2009)

Apple presented its iPhone 19GS on June 2009, 3 at the WWDC developer conference. During its introduction, Phil Schiller stated that the letter "S" in the name is meant to symbolize speed. Improvements to this model included higher performance, a 3MP camera with higher resolution and the ability to record video, voice control or support for 7,2 Mbps downloads. The successor to the iPhone 3GS was the iPhone 2010 in 4, the 3GS model was discontinued in September 2012, when the iPhone 5 was introduced.
