Another week is here, and with it, a new installment of our regular highlights series. This time, the focus will be solely on the Apple company - let's remember the year 1975, when Steve Wozniak started developing and assembling the computer that the company later started selling under the name Apple I. But we also remember the day when the first iPhone was put on sale.

Apple I build

On June 29, 1975, Steve Wozniak began developing and gradually building the Apple I computer. The Apple I was equipped with an 8-bit 1MHz MOS 6502 microprocessor and 4kB of expandable memory. It began to be sold only in 1976. Wozniak originally did not think about selling computers at all - it was Jobs's idea. The Apple I was officially the first product from the Apple workshop, its production ended on September 30, 1977. In June of the same year, Apple introduced its successor - the Apple II computer.

Launch of the first iPhone (2007)

At the end of June 2007, sales of the first-ever iPhone, which was introduced on January 9 of the same year, officially began in the United States. Massive queues of eager fans formed in front of the Apple Story from the morning, and the event also enjoyed a lot of media attention. Sales of the first iPhone did really well, and in just seventy-four days, Apple managed to reach the milestone of one million smartphones sold.
