This problem will be solved in a great way by watchOS 7.4, which will bring the ability to unlock the iPhone through the Apple Watch. As soon as Face ID detects that you are currently wearing a mask or respirator, it will automatically unlock. Of course, the condition is that an unlocked Apple Watch is within reach. You don't have to worry about abuse anyway. Every time your iPhone is unlocked, you'll be notified via a haptic feedback right on your wrist. The new version of the operating system should arrive early next week.
