A few minutes after the end of the keynote, at which Tim Cook et al. presented brand new Macs with brand new M1 processors, the information on the Czech Apple website has finally been updated and we can finally look at the prices and equipment of the newly introduced products. Let's start with the MacBook Air.

The basic configuration of the MacBook Air with an M1 processor in a configuration with an 8-core processor and 7-core integrated graphics, 256 GB SSD and 8 GB of operating memory costs 29 990 -. In terms of hardware equipment, it is possible to supplement the configuration with an additional 8 GB of RAM, i.e. to a total of 16 GB, for a rather massive additional charge of 6 thousand crowns.

The surcharge for increasing SSD storage is also not small. The jump from 256 GB to 512 GB will again cost 6 thousand crowns, the jump to 1 TB 12 thousand and to 2 TB 24 thousand crowns more. From the hardware point of view, it is not possible to configure the new MacBook Air in any way, other options only apply to Logic Pro X and Final Cut Pro X software.

In addition to the basic configuration, a version with a fully unlocked M1 processor is also available, which thus contains an 8-core CPU and an 8-core iGPU, the base also has 512 GB of storage and the same 8 GB of RAM. This option works out to 37 990 - with the same options to purchase more RAM/SSD as above. The new prices are therefore known, the interesting thing is that the previous variants based on processors from Intel have completely disappeared from the offer. At the time of writing, delivery of both configurations was at the end of next week, between November 18 and 19. However, this deadline will most likely be extended as time goes on.
