It's been a few moments since this year's September Apple Conference ended. As expected, we did not see the presentation of the new iPhones at it, which was confirmed by Tim Cook himself right at the beginning of the conference. He said that today's conference will revolve only around the Apple Watch and iPads. So we got to see the introduction of the new high-end Apple Watch Series 6 and the cheaper Apple Watch SE. In addition, Apple also introduced the brand new eighth-generation iPad alongside the fourth-generation iPad Air.

This new iPad comes with the A12 processor that appeared in the older iPhone XS (Max) and XR. This processor is 40% faster compared to its predecessor, the graphics performance is then 2x greater. The display then has a resolution of 2160×1620 pixels and offers LED backlighting and IPS technology. There is also Apple Pencil support and an 8 Mpix camera. The design of the eighth-generation iPad is very similar to its predecessor, which is perhaps a bit of a shame - but the original design is very popular, so Apple stuck with the "old familiar". Apple boasts that the eighth generation iPad is 2x faster than the most popular Windows tablet, 3x faster than the most popular Android tablet and 6x faster than the most popular ChromeBook.

The eighth generation iPad is available in 3 colors, namely grey, silver and gold. As for storage, you can choose between 32 GB and 128 GB, there is also a choice between a Wi-Fi version and a Wi-Fi version together with a mobile data connection (celluar). The basic 8th generation iPad (Wi-Fi and 32 GB) starts at 9 CZK, if you opt for the 990 GB version with Wi-Fi, prepare 128 CZK. The 12 GB variant with Wi-Fi + Celluar then costs CZK 490, the top version with 32 GB and Wi-Fi + Celluar then costs CZK 13.
