Even this week, on the website of Jablíčkára, we will not deprive you of a closer look at the abbreviation that caught our attention. Today we will introduce the Mail to Self shortcut, which is used to send a selected link to an email.

There are many ways to save any content from the Internet. For example, if it's plain text, you can simply copy it, paste it into native Notes, for example, and then do whatever you want with it. You can easily download photos, save them to your iPhone's photo gallery and then work with them as you like, web pages can be downloaded in PDF format to native Files or saved to your iPhone's desktop. In some cases, however, it may happen that you simply do not have time to save the selected content in several different steps. For these cases, the shortcut called Mail to Self can work great. The name of this shortcut speaks for itself - it is a simple but useful tool that allows you to quickly and easily send a selected link to your own email address.

After installing a shortcut, click the three dots icon in the upper right corner of its tab in the shortcut gallery, then click the three dots icon in the upper right corner of the shortcut page again, and activate the option to add the shortcut to the sharing tab. When you come across content that you want to send to yourself by email, click on the share icon and select Mail to Self from the menu. After that, just enter your email address and the Mail to Self shortcut will do the rest. The shortcut requires access to the Mail app on your iPhone.
