Jiří Filip Recognize music via Shazam directly from the Control Center
Shazam is integrated really well in the iOS operating system, you can even add its button to the Control Center on your iPhone. So if you hear a song somewhere that interests you, after adding it, you don't need to launch the application itself to recognize it - just activate Control Center and tap on the appropriate button. To add Shazam to Control Center, run on your iPhone Settings and tap on Control Center. Go to the section Additional controls and click on the green icon "+" next to the item Music recognition.
Shazam and Siri
Shazam also gets along with the virtual voice assistant Siri. In practice, this means that if you want to find out what song is currently playing near you, all you have to do is on any of your Apple devices activate Siri and ask her a question:"Hey Siri, what's that song?". You'll be presented with a simplified Shazam interface, and all you have to do is tap on icon to start listening.
Listen in the background
Are you in a place where multiple songs are playing in a row and you want to know them all? You can activate Shazam in the background. Launch Shazam and then long press the logo on the app's main screen. Auto Shazam mode will start, during which you don't have to activate song recognition manually every time. To exit Auto Shazam mode, just tap again soon.
Select the microphone
Did you know that in the Shazam app, you can specify which of the microphones on your iPhone will recognize the song that is playing? Launch the app on your iPhone Shazam, pull out upwards, the bottom of the display, and then tap in the upper left corner settings icon. Go all the way down, tap the item Microphones and then it is choose which of the microphones Shazam should use.

Spotify or Apple Music?
While Shazam has been a de facto Apple app for some time now, that doesn't mean you have to necessarily connect it only to Apple Music. If you prefer Spotify, launch the Shazam app on your iPhone and home screen pull the bottom of the display upwards. In the upper left corner, tap settings icon and on the tab at the top of the display next to the item Spotify simply tap on Join.
