After years, Apple today updated the base model of the MacBook Pro with a 13-inch display and two Thunderbolt 3 ports. The new version gets Touch Bar, Touch ID, True Tone display, Apple T2 chip and more powerful 8th generation Intel processors. Despite all these improvements, the price tag of the laptop remains the same as before.

While the original 2017 entry-level MacBook Pro offered a classic keyboard with F1 to F12 function keys, including a traditional power button, starting today all MacBook Pro variants feature Touch Bar and Touch ID. Hand in hand with this change, Apple withdrew the original models without Touch Bar from the offer.

In addition to the above, the basic MacBook Pro now also has a display with True Tone technology, which automatically adjusts the color temperature of the display according to the ambient light. There is also an Apple T2 chip that increases security and allows you to use the Hey Siri function. One of the most fundamental changes is the new eighth-generation Intel processors, thanks to which, according to Apple, the new MacBook Pros are up to twice as powerful compared to the previous generation.

The basic configuration for CZK 38 offers a 990GHz quad-core Intel Core i1,4 with integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics 5, 645GB of RAM and a 8GB SSD. There is also a more expensive variant with a 128GB SSD for CZK 256. In the configuration tool, Apple offers to increase the SSD capacity up to 44 TB, the operating memory to 990 GB, and also equip the notebook with a more powerful quad-core Intel Core i2 processor with a clock speed of 16 GHz.
